One thing I did notice is that with the newest BM driver my video sync offset increased from 8 quarter frames to 28 quarter frames and there is a bit longer delay between the time I hit play and when the system actually rolls. I haven't noticed any drift on my genlocked Decklink Extreme, but then lately I have mostly been working at major facilities that use Aja Kona cards and haven't done much work on my own system since I updated.
I'm not disputing whether the problem exists, I'm just trying to determine if I need to test my home system again since I recently updated to the v10.6 BM Video driver. SVMN does not state whether he is genlocking his Decklink or even which model it is, so we don't know whether that is the problem. Without a reference I would expect any video card to have some drift. That article tests the BM Mini Monitor, which ASAIK does not have a reference input like the Decklink Extreme or Studio does. The issue seems to be on the mac side, and was both measurable and repeatable. a BM Windows system with the then newest drivers. when i watched whole movie from a distance i notice some scenes were not synced properly (some really werent) but i was told to have a special look at sync. it took me 3 days of editing, syncing and resyncing what was already good to find out this strange behavior. when i stop and hit play, everything is synced again. (its not linear and difference is not increasing over time) sometimes sync is maintained, sometimes i get those 3frames difference in one minute. but no more than 3frames no matter how long i play it. When i hit play, video and audio gets slightly out of sync over time.

This is my first full feature movie on freshly installed pt12hd system and i found something really wrong that makes me wanna switch back to pt10. Ok, but now i really dont know what is going on.
